This PolarPro Summit Landscape Filter Holder Kit is designed to allow for the convenient use of up to two neutral density filters along with a circular polarizer filter on lenses with 77 or 82mm front filter threads. Included is a PolarPro Summit Core Filter Holder, a PolarPro Summit Neutral Density 1.8 Filter, a PolarPro Summit Soft-Edge Graduated Neutral Density 0.9 Filter, and a PolarPro Summit Circular Polarizer Filter. The two neutral density filters are each encased within a durable and lightweight filter frame. By encasing the sides of a filter, the filter frames help to eliminate or limit stray light, which could have unwanted effects on exposure, from coming in between a filter placed within the filter holder, as well as the filter holder and the lens behind it. Additionally, the filter frames reinforce rigidity of the neutral density filters while preventing their sides from having to come into direct contact with the filter holder’s slots. This protects those side surfaces and promotes sharp results by ensuring that the filter remains flat.
